Lights down.
Film on.
The first minutes of a launch night belong to the opening film. We build it from the same idea as the stage, the invitation and social. When the night ends, the aftermovie carries it on.
● WHO IS WATCHING
The person across the table.
Understand in the first minute why they are there.
Take away the one message of the launch, clear and shareable.
Live the night later, in a short film.
● ANATOMY OF THE FILM
The order it is told in.
-
The room goes quiet, the first sound and image take the attention.
-
Shows a familiar problem or an old habit.
-
Tells what changes, not what the product is.
-
The film hands over to the product, the stage or the speaker.
-
Moments, people and atmosphere are shot for the aftermovie.
-
Turns the night into a short, shareable film.
● HOW WE BUILD IT
The promise, not the product
An opening film is not a feature list. At the Erawet launch the film stood on one line: "Islak hacimler bir inşaat değil, artık bir ürün", wet rooms are no longer construction, they are a product.
Written with the stage
Where the film ends, where the stage begins, when light and sound come in: we plan it all with the run of the night.
One language, every surface
Opening film, stage visuals, invitation and print speak one visual language. That is how we built the Erawet night at Feriye Palace in Istanbul, as one system.
The night keeps working
We plan vertical cuts and the aftermovie from the start. The Erawet opening film also came as a vertical version.
DELIVERY
● REAL WORK
A launch night and a launch training: two projects where the film was part of the launch.
Questions.
How long does a launch film take?
The event date is fixed, so we plan backwards from it. The time needed depends on scope and shooting, and we set it after the brief.
What drives the cost?
Whether there is a shoot, the number of shooting days and crew, the amount of animation and post-production, and the number of versions and languages. We quote once the scope is clear.
Should the opening film be shot or animated?
The idea decides. It can be live action, motion graphics or a mix of both.
Do you deliver for the stage screens?
Yes. We build the film to the size and ratio of the screens at the venue. Loops and background videos can come with it.
Do you shoot on the event day for the aftermovie?
Yes, the event-day shoot is part of the plan. We cut the aftermovie in several lengths for social and follow-up communication.
Do you also design the invitation and stage visuals?
Yes. Concept, invitation, stage visuals and print come from one team. For the Erawet launch we produced all of it together.
