The first second
is everything.
A vertical video is not what is left over from the main film. It has its own rules. Reels, stories and cutdowns from the same idea, in the language of each channel.
● WHO IS WATCHING
The person across the table.
See a reason to stop in the first second.
Feel the brand speak in the same voice every week.
Get the story without turning the sound on.
● ANATOMY OF THE FILM
The order it is told in.
-
One strong image in the first second.
-
Sets up the subject in a few seconds.
-
The one scene that shows the product, the person or the idea.
-
Carry the story with the sound off.
-
Tunes the edit to the pace of the platform.
-
Logo, one line or the next step.
● HOW WE BUILD IT
Vertical from the start
We set the frame for 9:16, 4:5 and 1:1 before the shoot. A vertical cut is not something cropped out of a landscape film afterwards.
One shoot, many cuts
One shoot gives the hero film, short versions and vertical cuts. For the Erawet launch, the opening film also came as a vertical cut.
A series, not one-offs
We build a template system for type, colour, subtitle style, intros and outros. Every new video speaks the same language.
The brand's own voice
For HUSH we carried the language of the identity and the posters into the reel video. The video does not break away from the rest of the brand.
DELIVERY
● REAL WORK
Two projects where we carried the main idea into vertical formats and cutdowns.
Questions.
Which platforms do you produce for?
Mainly Instagram and LinkedIn. When needed, we also cut for TikTok and YouTube Shorts.
Can you cut social versions from our existing film?
Yes. We can make vertical and short versions from your footage with editing, subtitles and graphics.
Do you produce on a regular basis?
Yes. In a monthly partnership we run the calendar, production and posting with you.
What drives the cost?
The number of videos, whether there is a shoot, the amount of animation and editing, and language versions. We quote once we have agreed the scope.
Do you write the on-screen text and subtitles?
Yes, in English, German and Turkish. Each language is written on its own terms, not translated word for word.
Can our team use the templates?
Yes. We deliver editable templates in Canva, Figma or Adobe.
