● SUSTAINABILITY STATEMENT
Less,
but right.
The quietest decision in design is what not to make. Needless print, needless data, needless slides. This page is our statement on how we make those decisions and where we stand.
● MEASURED
The weight of this site.
Scrolled to the end, without video, our home page downloads about 550 KB. A median desktop page on the web: 2,652 KB.
Source: HTTP Archive, Web Almanac 2024, page weight · Our own measurement: without video, fully scrolled.
● OUR COMMITMENTS
Six promises.
- ✓ IN PLACE01Static sitePages are built ahead of time; the server does not rebuild them on every visit.
- ✓ IN PLACE02Images per screenEvery image is resized to the screen and served in a modern format.
- ✓ IN PLACE03Video on sightVideos only load when they come into view and pause when you scroll away.
- ✓ IN PLACE04Digital firstWe design reports, decks and invitations digital first.
- ✓ IN PLACE05Planned printWhen something is printed, we plan quantity and material together.
- ✓ IN PLACE06AI with a briefEvery production starts with a clear brief and references to avoid wasteful iterations.
